Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using Similator Pro (hereafter "the Service"), you accept these terms. If you don't agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service description

Similator Pro is a web tool that helps candidates optimize their resume to pass ATS filters (Applicant Tracking Systems) such as Workday, Taleo, iCIMS, Greenhouse, Lever, SuccessFactors. The Service offers:

• Algorithmic resume analysis (ATS score, keywords)
• AI-assisted rewriting (Claude / GPT-4)
• Cover letter generation
• Interview preparation (STAR kit)
• ATS-friendly templates + PDF/DOCX export

Important disclaimer: we provide a writing assistance tool. We do not guarantee obtaining an interview or a job — the result depends on your profile, the market, and many other factors beyond our control.

3. User account

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• One natural person per account. No shared accounts.
• You are responsible for the confidentiality of your password.
• You will notify us immediately at contact@similator-pro.com in case of unauthorized use of your account.

4. Pricing

The Service is currently free during our launch period. No payment method is required, and no credit card is requested.

If we introduce a paid plan in the future, you will be notified at least 30 days in advance. Your existing analyses and resumes will remain accessible for free.

5. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for illegal or fraudulent purposes
• Attempt to bypass technical protections (rate limiting, auth, etc.)
• Perform mass scraping, reverse engineering, cloning
• Submit copyrighted content of which you are not the rights holder
• Submit defamatory, hateful or illegal content
• Attempt to impersonate another user
• Voluntarily overload our infrastructure

Any violation may result in immediate account suspension without notice or refund.

6. Intellectual property

6.1 Your content

You remain the owner of your resume, the job offers you paste, and the content generated from your data. We only obtain the license necessary to provide the Service (storage, display, processing by our AI partner).

6.2 Our content

The code, design, templates, site texts and the "Similator Pro" brand are our property or used under license. You may not reproduce or redistribute them without written authorization.

6.3 Resume templates

The resume templates we offer are free for personal use. You can generate as many resumes as you want and use them for your applications. You may not resell these templates or redistribute them outside personal use.

7. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". We do our best to ensure its availability and accuracy, but we do not guarantee that:

• The Service will be available 100% of the time (target: 99.5% uptime)
• AI-generated advice will be free of errors (always proofread before use)
• You will obtain a job or interview (the Service is a tool, not a results guarantee)
• Third-party ATS (Workday, Taleo…) will remain 100% compatible in the future

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to €100 (one hundred euros) per incident.

8. Suspension and termination

• You can delete your account at any time, from your dashboard or by email to contact@similator-pro.com.
• We may suspend or delete your account in case of violation of these terms, with email notification (except in serious cases of fraud / security).
• We reserve the right to terminate the Service entirely, with 30 days notice and the option to export your data.

9. Personal data

The processing of your data is governed by our privacy policy, which is an integral part of these terms.

10. Changes to the terms

We may modify these terms. Any substantial modification will be notified by email at least 30 days before entry into force. Continuing to use the Service after this date constitutes acceptance. If you refuse, you can delete your account without penalty.

11. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, we favor an amicable resolution. Failing that, the competent courts are those of the consumer's domicile under the Consumer Code.
