About Similator Pro

Why we exist, how we work, and who's behind the tool.

The problem we solve

75% of resumes sent to large companies are never read by a human. They are first filtered by software called ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) — robots that scan your resume and score it. If the score is too low, you are eliminated before any recruiter sees your profile.

The problem: most candidates don't know these filters exist. And even when they do, the tools to audit a resume against ATS cost €50 to €200 per month (Jobscan, Resumeworded, etc.). That's expensive when you're job hunting.

Our mission

Democratize access to professional resume optimization tools. Concretely:

  • Free during our launch period. No paywall, no credit card, no analysis limits — full access to every feature.
  • Transparent on the algorithms. We explain why your resume gets a given score — no black box.
  • Total privacy respect. PDF/DOCX parsing happens in your browser. Your data is never sold, never used to train AI models.
  • Bilingual EN + FR. Apply internationally without rewriting everything.

How it actually works

Our algorithm combines two engines:

1. Deterministic analysis (instant, local)

We reverse-engineered the public heuristics of the main ATS (Workday, Taleo, iCIMS, Greenhouse, Lever, SuccessFactors). We check:

  • Presence and frequency of job-offer keywords
  • Density of action verbs (impact)
  • Quantification (% / numbers / dates)
  • Format compatibility (single column, web-safe fonts, no image icons)
  • Standard sections (experience, education, skills)
  • Unconscious bias detection (age, gender, origin)

2. AI rewriting (on demand)

When you click "Rewrite," our master prompt sends the resume to our AI engine. The prompt is designed to forbid any invention. When information is missing, the AI adds [to confirm] or [N] for you to fill in — never a hallucination. The AI providers we use are transparently listed in our privacy policy.

Who we are

Similator Pro is built by Cheikh Tidiane Mbacké Ndaw, founder and lead developer, a specialist of the ServiceNow ecosystem and modern recruiting platforms. The project is published from France with no external investors and no monetization pressure, which lets us keep the product free during the launch phase and align every decision with the candidate's interest.

Cheikh Tidiane Mbacké Ndaw

Founder & lead developer — Similator Pro

ServiceNow specialist, ATS expert (Workday, Taleo, iCIMS), resume parsing and NLP applied to recruiting. LinkedIn

The tool was born from a simple observation: too many candidates with strong profiles are eliminated because their resume doesn't pass ATS filters — without any human recruiter having a chance to see it. The service remains free as long as infrastructure costs stay manageable; if a paid plan is introduced one day, it will be optional — the free version will stay powerful.

Our E-E-A-T commitment

Google and users are right to demand trust signals. Here are ours:

  • Experience: real ATS feedback, not theoretical marketing.
  • Expertise: deep technical understanding of resume parsing, NLP, matching algorithms.
  • Authority: total methodology transparency. All our algorithms are documented.
  • Trust: strict GDPR compliance, no dark pattern, no advertising tracking, clear conditions.

Roadmap

Coming soon:

  • Blog with detailed guides (ATS, resume writing, salary negotiation)
  • Industry-specialized templates (tech, finance, marketing, healthcare)
  • Integrated application tracker
  • Chrome extension to analyze a LinkedIn job in one click
  • Support for additional languages (ES, DE, IT)
